Atelier

March 2015

May Street Studios, Sydney.

Work in progress.. After James Joyce, "Ripple all thy Flying Hair" 2000 - 2015.

picking up the prints.. they look quite beautiful as a pair.

I am reworking this photograph.. It's a self-portrait taken in 2000.

I (painstakingly) cut the images into small strips.. any mistakes will send me back to the printer for another print..

the cutting process takes more than a day.. nearly 100 cuts to complete both photographs.

the photographs are then carefully glued back together again.. this is the biggest version I have made using this method.
